Since 1987!
RockSalt morphed from being a Contemporary Christian Music Agency into a Ministry that would span two continents. The first 12 years of that ministry focused on Bolivia and included church planting, bible school, burned children project, adoption assistance, medical missions and much, much more.
The work has continued in Bolivia with the help of our friends there who among other things, produce a worship event that features a simulcast in every major city! Many churches and musical groups participate in this event.
We have maintained relationships with our many friends there, especially the families of the burned children program. We recently learned that one of the first two children in the program has received a complete scholarship to study for her masters degree in education in England. Additionally there are children all over the United States and several other countries who were rescued from deplorable conditions into loving families. Who knows what wonderful things have happened or will happen in their lives.

RockSalt is a concept whose roots are in the Jesus People movement of the 1960's and 1970's. Its name is melded from words found in two scriptures, both quoting Jesus Christ: "Upon this rock I will build my church," and "You are the salt of the earth,,," (Matthew 16:18 and 5:13) Initially involved in promoting the music of the Jesus
